Wardrobes, beds, desks, chests of drawers, bookcases. Built the way the instructions intend rather than the way that gets it standing. Anything tall goes on a wall anchor, and the packaging is flattened and taken away before we leave.

What it costs

A fixed price, agreed before we start

Tell us what it is and send a link or a photo of the box. Most items we can price straight away, because the make and model tells us how long it takes.

More than one item in the same visit costs less each, since most of the cost is getting there and clearing the space. A wardrobe and two bedsides together is much better value than three separate visits.

Anchor anything tall to the wall, using the right fixing for that wall
Check every panel against the parts list before starting, so a missing dowel is found at the start and not at the end
Square the carcass before the back goes on, which is what stops doors dropping later
Flatten the packaging and take it away if you want it gone

! Worth saying up front

A sliding wardrobe has to be built where it is staying. It cannot be moved afterwards.
Damaged or missing parts are between you and the retailer. We will photograph anything wrong so you have the evidence.
Very large items are a two-person lift. If it needs a second pair of hands we will say so when we quote.
The floor needs to be reasonably level, or doors will not line up however well it is built.

If the job turns out to be different from the photos, we stop, tell you plainly what we have found, and you don't pay for work we haven't done.
