TV wall mounting

Your TV on the wall, level, first time

Fixed into what is actually behind your plaster. Cables tidied or hidden.

72″ on a full-motion bracket. Witney.

What it costs

A fixed price, agreed before we start

Send a photo of the wall and tell us the size of the screen. You get a price in writing for the whole job — not an hourly rate that grows while you watch, and not a number that moves once we are halfway up the ladder.

If the wall turns out to be something other than what the photo showed, we tell you before we drill and you decide what happens next. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.

The part people get wrong

It depends entirely on the wall

Every screen that ends up on the floor was fixed into the wrong thing. There are three walls you'll find in a house round here, and each one takes a different fixing.

Solid brick or block

The easy one. The fixing goes straight into masonry and holds anything you can lift. Most houses built before the seventies, and most chimney breasts.

Plasterboard on studs

The board holds nothing. The screw has to land in the timber or steel behind it, which means finding the stud first — and the bracket has to line up with where the stud actually is.

air gap

Dot-and-dab

Plasterboard stuck to blockwork with an air gap behind. Looks solid, isn't. The fixing has to bridge the gap and bite the block, or the board tears out and takes the screen with it.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. You send a photoA picture of the wall and the size of the screen usually tells us enough to price it without coming out.
  2. You get a fixed priceIn writing, with the wall type stated. If the wall turns out to be something else, we tell you before we drill.
  3. We fit itA time, not a four-hour window. Dust sheets down, holes drilled clean, screen levelled and checked.
  4. We tidy upCables run or hidden, packaging flattened and taken away, floor left as we found it.

Send a photo of the wall

Tell us the size of the screen and where you want it. You'll get a fixed price back, usually the same day.
