The list on the fridge, cleared in one visit

Doors that stick or will not latch, cupboard hinges that have dropped, drawer runners that have given up, handles that have worked loose. Individually none of it is worth a call-out. Together it is one visit and the house works properly again. We also fit cat and dog flaps.

A fixed price, agreed before we start

Small jobs are much better value bundled. The drive and the setting up cost the same whether we fix one thing or six, so the more you have on the list the less each one costs.

Send a photo or a short description of each item. Most we can price without coming out, and there is a minimum charge that covers the first hour on site.

  • A door that sticks, drops, or will not latch properly
  • Cat and dog flaps cut into uPVC, plywood or wooden doors
  • Cupboard hinges adjusted or replaced so the doors line up again
  • Drawer runners that have collapsed or come off their track
  • Loose handles, hooks, towel rails and door furniture refixed properly

! When it is not a small repair

  • If a door has dropped because the frame has moved, that is a bigger job and we will say so
  • Anything structural, or anything behind a wall, goes to the right trade
  • Damp, rot and movement need finding and fixing at the cause, not patching over
  • We will always tell you when a repair is throwing money at something that needs replacing

If the job turns out to be different from the photos, we stop, tell you plainly what we have found, and you don't pay for work we haven't done.
